The Antwerp office provide the full project execution services:
from conceptual engineering, basic engineering, and detailed engineering through commissioning and construction support.

The Project Controls Team consists of Planning and Cost Engineering professionals.
As a Project Controls Specialist, you will perform activities for the overall Project Controls effort for a project.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Develop, implement, and direct the total Project Controls program
Implement the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures
Analyze variances in cost or schedule performance against the plan
Communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance
Propose mitigation plans to Project Management
Contribute to the proposal efforts for cost or scheduling activities
Review project profit recognition
Provide evaluation of opportunities with management
Manage project schedule including critical path activities
Review schedule float for schedule slippages
Other duties as assigned

This position performs Project Control functions related to cost and/or schedule and assists in the preparation of Project Controls activities for a project or assignment.

- Prepare the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract

Accumulate and compile accurate cost management data to prepare the project budget and update the progress of the project
Develop cost control/scheduling procedures, execution plan, and business plan for a project
Participate in weekly project cost reviews/schedule meetings
Develop and implement a basic change management system for engineering and construction
Develop and maintain Management, Project and Control level schedules
Other duties as assigned
Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Basic Job Requirements

Bachelor or Master degree
46 years of relevant work experience as a Project Controls Specialist
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English both written and verbal
Experience with Scrum, Lean, Agile Methodologies or willingness to learn in practice
Ability to attend to detail and work in a timeconscious and timeeffective manner
Flexibility to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business related matter
