Work environment:

The "Energy" Business Line is responsible for all the engineering activities related to the development and realisation of projects in the following fields:

  • Power, Heat and Desalination
  • Green Fuels: Gas, LNG, Hydrogen and other derived fuels
  • Transmission and Distribution of Electricity
  • Renewables, including onshore and offshore Wind and PV
These projects go from the pre-feasibility studies up to final commissioning of the installations.


Within the Renewables department, we deliver consultancy and engineering services for onshore and offshore wind and PV projects, helping our clients in the development, realisation and operational phases of their projects.


Mission:


  • You are responsible for the promotion of services and the development of our business in a dedicated geographical area, working jointly with our Product Managers;
  • You are responsible for offer preparation, offer submission and commercial negotiation up to contract signature. You prepare the offer jointly with the concerned Product Manager and a Technical Bid Manager;

Profile:


  • You are responsible for the submission of attractive and innovating tenders and awarding new contracts.
You understand clients' needs and translate them in the right strategy to build a winning tender:
price setting, selection of most suitable partners, propose the right project team etc...

You lead the team assigned to the tender preparation (technical bid managers, sales assistant) and you interact with internal (legal, tax, HR, ) and external stakeholders (client, partners, subcontractors ) while challenging the price, scope and planning of the tender and managing risks and opportunities.

After tender submission, you keep track of our tender and are responsible until final negotiation and contract signature. Once projects are awarded, you organize a hand over to the project manager.

  • As part of the sales team, you establish and update on a regular basis the market strategy and business plan to meet our sales target (business booked, hit rates ). You propose and implement solutions to improve the efficiency of our sales effort.
  • You support the Business Developers in identifying new opportunities and you give them a return of experience in terms of won/lost tenders, collaboration with partners, market price
  • You will be mainly dedicated to the Transmission and Distribution opportunities but you might be also involved in Solar PV/Battery Storage opportunities which encompass a broad market segment:
  • Transmission grids development projects in Africa, in Belgium and South East Asia
  • Offshore High Voltage substations in Europe and South East Asia
  • Industrial clients grid connections
  • Solar PV/ Battery Storage projects development in Africa and Europe
