Position Overview

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (FP&A) will be a key contributor to Financial Planning and Analysis support of the OneSpan Security business unit.

The role will own the execution and development of vital reporting that seeks to explain to Management what has occurred in the business, what themes are evident that point to future results and what the recommended actions are that make logical and economic sense to achieve the organization and departmental objectives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Month end close monitoring, alert messaging and reporting v Plan and PY
HW Gross Margin calculation by Customer and Product, to include presentation and process development
HW Forecast tools ownership, ensuring fit for purpose, understood by stakeholders and actively used in business discussions
Supporting period deepdive into results and trends, focus on the various review sessions and deadlines
Ownership of process and reporting improvement projects, definition, management and conclusion with measurable benefit
Commercial Support in the assessment of the economic benefit of a given deal, information gathering, pricing, recommendation to leadership

Requirements:

Skills:

Accountancy experience:understanding of how financials in complex organisations are recorded and reported, with previous experience of working in a financial planning team

Communication:natural, easy communicator who is comfortable with a workshop type atmosphere

Analytical skills:ability to see patterns in data present finds to management

Experience with analytics tools**:Excel, data-base proficiency, Tableau, Power BI or similar

Report writing:able to communicate in a professional, concise manner that allows finance and none finance to understand a message and action
