About the role:


  • Lead the Artwork Management (AM) and Master Data Management (MDM) teams in Site, providing daily oversight of workload and priorities. Manage resources, processes and the strategy for the Site Specific Artwork and Master Data Management team.
  • Manage a staff of Artwork and Master Data Project leaders and/or analysts. Identify resources needed to manage and develop label and master data changes.
  • Act as PIT Lead (Process Improvement Team) for Artwork Management (AM) for Plasma OpU
  • Participate as PIT member for Master Data Management (MDM) for Plasma OpU

How you will contribute:


Accountabilities:


  • Lead the Artwork and Master Data Management team in Site, providing daily oversight of workload and priorities. Manage resources, processes and the strategy for the Site Specific Artwork and Master Data Management team.
  • Manage a staff of Artwork and Master Data Project leaders and/or analysts. Identify resources needed to manage and develop label and master data changes.
Coordinate the implementation artworks and master data for a group of products while balancing Site Specific efficiency, distribution, customer service, and meeting inventory, manufacturing/CMO, quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Responsible and accountable for Artwork and Master Data Change Project Management, process execution, GDP, and adherence to required completion date. Expedite and monitor actions required by other functions until completion.
  • Enable the MDM team to liaise between the business and IT as experts for the C3ME/SAP SC business process, establishing and maintaining standardized processes for item life cycle management, creating and monitoring of master data to enable proper planning results and supporting inventory management and planning visibility.
  • Lead and work with crossfunctional project teams and the manufacturing vendor on development for new products, new markets and changes to existing printed packaging components and production and packaging master data.
  • Ensure Artwork and Master Data Management is appropriately represented on crossfunctional project teams for New Product Introduction.
  • Preside as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the site in relation to the Artwork & Master Data Management. Key player in global strategic projects (Labeling and Master Data related).
  • Responsible to break down strategic business targets into department targets and lead PMOs to completion; responsible for adhering to the budget.
  • Support Site specific forecasting and budgeting activities for the Artwork & Master Data Management team.
  • Interfaces with regulators during inspections for Artwork & Master Data change control topics

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Ensure GMP Processes, Procedures and Best Business Practices are always used within Artwork & Master Data Operations
  • Establish & maintain good working relationships with key colleagues involved in the Artwork & Master Data processes across the organization, such as GRA, GPT and Supply Planning, to ensure compliant use of the artwork process and systems to support the on time delivery of artwork
  • Work directly with internal design studio, external graphic houses and print vendors to coordinate artwork development & publishing of new/ revised artwork as well as technical/ profile drawings and guides
  • Transparently monitor, control and report process performance of label and master data changes.
  • Manage overall portfolio and projects for Artwork and Master Data changes site specific considering lowest possible impact on market supply and manufacturing operations while still maintaining highest possible efficiency in change implementation.
  • Define implementation plan and if required mitigation strategy based on supply/demand forecast. Optimize inventory levels with Supply Planning to reduce the financial impact of the change while securing the Artwork and Master Data Changes.
  • Analyze complex data with the understanding of tradeoffs between different business objectives and present recommendations
  • Prepare, assess and approve business requests (e.g. timecards, vacation, supplies/ office equipment, and IT access)
  • Support budget control and forecasting

  • Manage and develop team skills and resources to fulfill the set strategic goals and monitor fulfillment
