Description

Purpose
As Accountant you will assist the accounting team with the preparation of the monthly financial package and special projects. Responsible for the integrity of the transactions in the general ledger system and process adjustments as necessary. Prepares various financial reports and participate in audits. Interact with clients, team members, and management on a regular basis.

Essential Functions

Credit control, followup on trade receivables & cash collection
Process and reconcile the bank statements and other ledgers
Process the petty cash
Process and follow up the account payable invoices and expense reports
Prepare the VAT declaration of the various countries
Prepare and upload the payment files
Support in the preparation of the fiscal annexes
Additional financial accounting duties as necessary
Administrative Support to the TeamLeader Accounting

Skills needed to be successful

Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Familiarity with financial statements
Advanced MS Excel skills
Solid knowledge of standard accounting procedures
Excellent analytical skills required
Ability to handle multiple projects at a time in a dynamic, deadline driven environment
