    The Financial Services Risk and Regulatory team at PwC advises leading financial services organisations on a wide variety of recovery and resolution planning related challenges. These range from the implementation of new regulatory and supervisory requirements, such as the Single Resolution Board work programme , which requires banks to invest in its valuation capabilities, operational continuity and contingency planning, Management Information Systems , as well as the operationalisation of banks recovery and resolution plans and capabilities.

    We're looking for a talented Senior Consultant or Manager to join our Financial Services department as part of our Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) team and advise our clients in Belgium and across EMEA.

    Your impact

    As a RRP Professional, you have a strong transversal view on the risk areas of banks and are able to connect quantitative capabilities, regulatory requirements, accounting standards and risk appetiteframework.

    You will support in many areas:

  • Assignments related to the development/improvement of bail-in playbooks and/or recovery plans.
  • Assignments related to the development/improvement of operational continuity and contingency planning.
  • Assignments related to the development/improvement of Management Information Systems and data governance frameworks and policies tailored to the client's organisation and respecting regulatory requirements
  • Regulatory assistance to our clients, assisting them to understand and integrate evolving regulatory and supervisory expectations and providing additional business value through optimisation of internal processes and systems.
  • Work on business development activities in line with our client needs, regulatory evolutions and as such expand our recovery and resolution planning footprint in the market
  • About you

    You hold a Master's degree and have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience for this function. Previous experience in recovery and resolution planning is a plus.

    During this previous experience, you have gained:

  • Knowledge of a risk management framework (risk appetite framework, risk identification, risk measurement and risk mitigation), with a focus on non-financial risks management
  • Expertise in financial valuation, operational continuity/resilience or data management in the financial sector.
  • Knowledge of data management governance and processes, a focus on the banks liabilities is a plus
  • Knowledge on data analytics and dashboarding tools such as PowerBI, Tableau and Alteryx
  • The right team spirit and eagerness to work in a client-focused, high-quality-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Dutch or French is a plus.
  • A strategic view that allows you to detect opportunities that could bring added value to clients.
