Robert Half is currently recruiting a Controller for a company specialized in retail.

Our client is located in Mechelen.

As a Financial Controller, your responsibilities include:

Actively participating in the construction of the Budget and Forecast;
Contributing to the monthly closing process;
Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of internal and global headquarter reports;
Preparing monthly financial presentations;
Conducting analysis on Account Receivable, product profitability, stock, etc., and providing follow-up;
Handling ad hoc analysis tasks;
Participating actively in all financial projects with Headquarters.

To be successful in this role as Financial Controller, you should have:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business/Economics/Finance/Accounting or related fields;
Prior experience in controlling is advantageous;
Audit experience would be highly beneficial;
Excellent proficiency in MS Office;
Familiarity with SAP is advantageous;
Effective communication skills, analytical thinking, and a results-oriented approach;
A good command of written and spoken English.
