We are seeking a Corporate Secretary Business Officer With passion and purpose, we deliver modern tax services, data-driven solutions and the transfer pricing organizations need to ;We connect the dots between the insights we uncover and the tangible ways those insights can transform clients' organizations. What you will be working on
    • Responsible for handling mail and correspondence received from the tax authorities.
    • Sorting and organizing incoming mail.
    • Ensuring that all documents are properly logged and filed for easy reference / updating and maintaining appropriate sharing platforms or gateways with clients.
    • Review and analyze the content of the correspondence to determine the appropriate course of action.
    • Pre-reading work of legal documents to understand legal deadlines and monitoring.
    • Effective communication with internal team members and external parties.
    • Follow-up with the various stakeholders within the team and/or clients to ensure actions are undertaken to meet deadlines.
    • Contact tax authorities for deadlines to facilitate communication.
    • Help preparing files (which includes preparing documents, collecting documents, creating proper filing).
    • Project management /tracking of these legal deadlines for internal audit purposes (writing reports, follow-up actions, ).
    • Monitor some planning deadlines defined within the Financial Services Tax team.
    • Understanding and monitoring of tax reclaim / appeal procedure.
    What we look for
    • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Law or similar field.
    • An experience as a paralegal in a law firm would be considered as a plus.
    • Supremely organized and detail oriented.
    • An effective and patient communicator.
    • An excellent problem solver.
    • Exercise sound judgment, manage risks effectively.
    • Demonstrate a relentless commitment to delivering work of the highest quality.
    • Distinguish yourself by your organizational skills, flexibility, team spirit and dynamism.
    • Able to work with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF.
    • Proficiency in English (French and German are considered as an asset).
