Job Description:


The regional Industry Strategy and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, supporting, communicating, implementing, and monitoring the regional growth strategy for his/her specific industry on behalf of an the EMEA organization in closed alignment and collaboration with the Global Industry Marketing Director.

He or she will drive and coordinate the variety of marketing execution resources to carry out the plan and ensures that sales resources understand the industry to drive the desired sustainable growth.

This position will report to the EMEA Marketing Director.

  • Develop and execute the strategies, roadmaps and plans that deliver market growth for the EMEA region in close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including the Global Industry Marketing Director as well as other Global and Regional Sales, Business Units and other Leaders.
  • Effectively synthesize factbased insights to clearly identify and prioritize industry strategies & opportunities to maximize market penetration and profitability (short term or longer term).
  • This includes supporting, optimizing, or recommending the development of in house or through acquisition competitive regional value propositions considering regional customers' needs, ecosystems), competitive landscape, pricing, supply chains, go to market and regulatory dynamics.
  • Providing deep insight into industry trends (macroeconomic factors, industry regulations, technology trends) key customers and ecosystem drivers and needs, competitive landscape, risk factors, technologies, and terminology etc.
  • Represent the region in the global strategic process and lead the Regional industry portion partnering closely with regional sales teams, BU businesses leaders and other relevant functions to ensure alignment in the strategies and their execution with global industry and other functions.
  • Representing the regional needs and opportunities related to the development (with Global Industry team) of optimum value propositions including representing and telling the Rockwell Automation value proposition across all potential channels (Events, Social, Media interviews, associations, analystsand writing or curating content in the industry vernacular (e.g. playbooks, case studies, blog posts, sales training materials).
  • Drive impact through the right collaboration and integration of Sales and Marketing
  • Develop and implement comprehensive and impactful communication and demand generation plan which elevates Rockwell Automation visibility within the regional industry and its ecosystem
  • Drive and monitor the execution of modern & effective marketing campaigns, tactics, tools, and participation in industryoriented professional organizations, trade press, shows, and conferences.
  • Align affinity teams of people reporting into other chain of commands but affine to the industry and initiatives across the region.
  • Implement welldefined sales & channel enablement plans with its KPI's and track success

Education/Background/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.
  • Required experience working in or with Heavy/Process industries
  • Minimum of 5 years of strategy and marketing experience as well as proven successful track record of leadership in an intentional company with a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative and cohesive teams while participating in growth monitoring and development of these teams
  • Experience leading by influence crosscountry and functional teams to develop and execute winning strategies & solutions.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to travel about 3050% of time. Expected to visit customers and sales teams to understand the voice of the customer.
  • Legal authorization to work in EMEA is a must.
  • Empathetic to a variety of sales resources, as well as the customer/prospect base
  • Deep understanding of direct sales organizations and partner ecosystems, and how they must work together.
