Trains and trams all around the world are equipped with Televic Rail solutions, from New Zealand to Canada, from China to the United States, from India to Belgium, England and France.

Topic

Televic GSP Belgium currently uses a number of PowerBI dashboards to monitor the operational health of the software delivery pipelines.

Currently they monitor duration and amount of failing builds and lingering pull requests monitored. Additionally, they indicate software components with an large amount of vulnerabilities.

These dashboards are working quite well. However, to implement further dashboards, limitations in the capabilities of PowerBI have been discovered. Therefore additional dashboards have been developed on Grafana in combination with a MySql database instead.

Goal of the internship is to investigate if it is possible to migrate the existing PowerBI dashboards to the Grafana platform such that the number of dashboard platforms to maintain can be reduced.

A proof of concept should demonstrate the feasibility of this migration.
