For the decommissioning program in
Doel and Tihange we are currently looking for a
competence manager in the domain of expertise
"Inventory, Logistics, Storage, Packaging & Transport"

The mission of the competence domains is to deliver
all the expertise necessary
to support the different subprograms and projects within the decommissioning program to ensure a professional evacuation of the material and waste.


As a
Competence manager you will be part of the "decommissioning common team" based in the Engie Tower in Brussels.


Mission:


  • You develop solid expertise and knowhow in the domain of "Inventory, Logistics, Storage, Packaging & Transport
    " and develop a network on which you can rely to support you in your mission.
  • You set up a
    competence mapping for your area: you identify the availability of expertise and knowhow within the Engie organization, but also beyond (third party companies, research institutes,), and make the necessary arrangements to contract expertise outside of Electrabel.
  • You
    install a network for your domain with participation of all relevant stakeholders within the Engie group (in particular Tractebel Engineering and Laborelec).
  • You
    develop governance, standards, guidelines and best practices in order to support the different projects and subprograms of the Decommissioning Program, ensuring common implementation on both sites (Doel/Tihange).
  • You act as the
    technical counterpart for the authorities.
  • You contribute to the
    strategic orientation and coordination of framework agreements and contracts with the main external stakeholders involved.
  • You are responsible for the estimation and forecast of global
    staffing needs and training needs, attendance to seminars and workgroups related to the competence area you are managing.
  • You have an
    engineering degree or equivalent through experience, with a technical background in the nuclear industry.
  • You are willing to further develop the technical expertise in the competence domain "**Inventory, Logistics, Storage, Packaging & Transport
    ".
  • You have experience in leading/facilitating a
    network and with the managing a group of experts.

  • You are fluent in French or Dutch and in English, with good presentation skills for communication events both orally and in written.
