_Mont-Saint-Guibert__, _
_Belgium__ _****Our mission is supported by an ambitious vertically integrated approach: design & manufacture of small satellites combined with development of earth observation services.

Since its creation in 2018, the company has already grown substantially. Our team gathers more than 25 engineering expertise, from hardware design to software development & data science.

In 2024, Aerospacelab counts offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland) and US West Coast with more than 200 full-time employees, with the ambition to position itself as the European leader in small satellites.

Role Overview:

Aerospacelab is looking for an enthusiastic professional with space sector knowledge to provide ITU and legal affairs support for our space activities with a focus on:

  • ITU Frequency filing, analysis and coordination as part of Aerospacelab's satellites deployment and operation
  • Overseeing export control processes, with a focus on our US subsidiary, to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Providing legal expertise on space law considerations for all space activities, including satellite licensing and compliance with evolving regulations (EU space law )
  • Participation and representation of ASL in space syndicates (ASD Aerospace ), space law and policy discussion (EC as part of the EU space law )
  • Contribution to the contractual negotiations for international sales contracts, particularly in the US market
  • Legal Counselling during International Tendering Procedures
