The Boeing Company is seeking a
Senior Global Regulatory Strategy Specialist to join the Product &Services Safety (P&SS) - Global Regulatory Strategy team.


The vision of Product & Services Safety is to build an enduring global culture where safety and mission success is the top priority resulting in the safest products and services for those who depend on, operate, build and maintain our products.

The Global Regulatory Strategy team's mission is to facilitate the development, integration, and communication, of global regulatory strategies across the enterprise.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise the implementation of bilateral agreements, the work of the certification management team and assess their impacts in relation to business unit priorities
  • Evaluate customer, operational and regulatory entity needs to define, develop and coordinate strategic requirements that align with the needs of our products and services.
  • Participate in the development, planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of the regulatory lifecycle, risks, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
  • Ability to develop the project definition and act as the project liaison in coordination, execution and oversight of regulatory strategy action plans
  • Work effectively as part of a highly motivated and diverse team, while also being able to work independently as part of a globally distributed team.

This position allows some telecommuting.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • At least a Bachelor degree in engineering, mathematics, science, business or law
  • Proficient in English

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Demonstrated experience working across organizational boundaries
  • Experience working, networking & teaming with government, industry & business partners
  • Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise; ability to develop innovative and novel approaches
  • Openminded and comfortable working in a teaming environment or as an individual contributor while being a champion for regulatory initiatives, objectives and milestones
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilateral agreements on Civil Aviation Safety
  • International type validation
  • Work of the Certification Management team
