AIG's underwriters help to find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients and High Net Worth individuals.

About the role

What you need to know:

The role will predominantly involve:
Study, analyse, manage and quote general ledger major and middle market business in accordance with the AIG guidelines, authorities, strategy, processes and tools:

Manage, analyse and defend an existent portfolio of business.
Build up a profitable book of new business.
Prepare risk referrals for new and existing business.
Handle rater tools and prepare booking instructions.
Participate in client/broker meetings.
Monitor portfolio of the book in relationship with claims.
Handle the commercial relationship with clients and brokers.
Give presentations, trainings and take care of internal and external networking.
Invest in different underwriting excellence initiatives.

What we're looking for:

Relevant experience in the insurance environment.
Dutch, French and English language capabilities.
Commercial and analytical skills.
Organizational Skills personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands are key.
Communication Skills
Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills. Build relationships and collaborate with others.
