Job Summary:

Medpace is growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Manager within our Software Development team to lead our Information Technology team in Belgium.

This position will manage a team of software engineers and software development projects to implement effective and high-quality software solutions.

Strong attention to detail, desire for process ownership, and interest in implementing new technology are highly valued.

To meet our global and innovation demands, Medpace is rapidly growing our software development footprint beyond the US. To support our growth, we are expanding our existing office in Leuven to build our first non-US innovation center.

You will be joining an organization where your contribution makes a significant impact in positively impacting people's lives, as new treatments and therapeutics are developed.

Responsibilities:

Manage software engineers and software development projects to implement effective and highquality software solutions;
Oversee the recruitment, training, evaluation and retention of Software Development staff;
Collect, analyze, and document user requirements;
Perform project management, ensure system quality and oversee content management;
Coordinate with companywide leadership regarding software development projects;
Manage software quality control and validation processes through development, code review, and/or execution of test plan/cases/scripts;
Train software engineers and end users;
Identify process deficiencies and propose improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related area, with eight years of software development and three years of project lead experience;
Prior experience in project management, execution, and delivery to customers, and in direct management of a development team;
Development Experience with Microsoft technologies such as.

NET and SQL Server;

Development Experience in web based technologies such as Angular;
Knowledge of Azure and SharePoint technologies preferred;
Experience in a clinical (or regulated) environment is a plus
