Job Purpose and Impact:

The Product Line Designer - Decorations will participate in designing and implementing our decorations product portfolio.

In this role, you will identify customer needs, market trends and use the information to establish the mood board for our future decoration collections and portfolio.

You will also analyze the current range, estimate potential sales, and handle product phase out.
You are part of the Cargill Gourmet business where we serve customers in the artisanal and semi-industrial channels. We develop sweet products and solutions towards the bakery, confectionery, and ice-cream categories.

Pastry chefs, chocolatiers and many more artisans use our decorations to make their cakes and other creations look beautiful and appealing.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Contribute to preparation and coordination of product introductions and updates.
  • Compile and evaluate research on market product requirements and identify enhancements to current portfolio features and functionality.
  • Conduct and organize all project plans, resources and take part in project execution by managing the design of products and recommend production methods.
  • Coordinate decoration product programs with sales and other stakeholders (graphics team, production, R&D) to identify manufacturing schedules, goals, design criteria, costs and similar considerations.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications

  • Product Design school degree
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch and or French
  • Actively engaged in socialmedia (Instagram, blogger sites,.)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator )
  • Creative thinker, nose for Innovation
  • Analytical, converting data into market trends and insights
