Capacity Manager

Within Proximus SpearIT, there is a specialized IT staffing department that helps customers organize their IT smarter for better performance in their business.

For our client active in the banking sector in Brussels, we are looking for a Capacity Manager.

As a Capacity Manager, you will ensure that the process for managing our Cloud and on-premises capacity run effectively and efficiently.

You manage in a proactive manner the capacity of our resources in order to have the right costs for the right service.

Specifically, you will:

Develop and create a capacity plan
Monitor the IT resources together with the service owners and platform owners in order to follow the business requests/volumes)
Manage the costs efficiently. This means that you will have to find the right balance between costs and business requests for resources.
Analyze the capacity evolution and propose solutions to improve the usage of our IT resources

You are in contact with our suppliers and our technology teams to be able to capture all data you need to execute your job.

You also work closely with those responsible for the ITSM processes: Incident & Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management,...

Finally, you set up indicators to ensure the efficiency of the process and you propose regular reporting related to capacity management.

Your profile:

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree and have a broad knowledge of computer science. You also have practical experience with development, infrastructure management,...
Knowledge of ITIL and/or an ITSM tool is a plus. (ServiceNow)
You have very good interpersonal skills, you communicate fluently with multidisciplinary teams and can lead meetings.
You handle problems conscientiously, methodically and constructively. You can work independently and take initiative to move things forward.
Your stress resistance allows you to deal with difficult situations.
You express yourself fluently in Dutch/French and have a good knowledge of English.
