For its Distributor Department based in the European Head office, (Belgium-Oudenaarde), Samsonite is currently looking for an enthusiastic
Marketing & Commercial Assistant.


The Marketing & Commercial Assistant is part of the Distributor Team and is based in the headquarters of Samsonite Europe NV in Oudenaarde.


In this role, you will assist the distributor department (internal) and distributors worldwide (external) by building and maintaining excellent relationships with the distributors and many other internal departments.

The Marketing & Commercial Assistant reports to the Director Distributor markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up to date statistical analysis records.
  • Provide a timely and accurate weekly and monthly report to the department.
  • Provide statistical data upon request.
  • Prepare presentations including statistical data and distributor market information in collaboration with the team.
  • Communicate with all departments to have the latest information on all levels (product, communication, retail, etc).
  • Maintain up to date product knowledge.
  • Be responsible for collaborative forecasting of new and existing products.
  • Draft price lists, order forms, etc. to share with customers.
  • Create pricing approval flows and responsible for the followup.
  • Proactively provide tools and support the distributors in all their requests (marketing, product and sales related).
  • Ensure an optimal relationship with distributors by communicating with key contacts to ensure the issues are solved at the soonest.
  • Organize international sales meetings.
  • Execute ad hoc projects and operational requests.
