You are responsible for

  • Working with the MedEd Events team sharing events organisations for the year's planning,
  • Working with the MedEd training team to support them during events,
  • Preparing and planning everything from A-Z for the events you manage,
  • Working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smoothly organised events,
  • Managing the medical equipment demo pool for events.

You are a part of
The Events team is part of the Marketing Communications team working out of our Zaventem office in Belgium.

Working together and helping each other out are key words for this team that ensures Philips customers and employees receive consistent, streamlined learning services by using common company style and standards in the delivery of learning services & solutions This fast-moving environment will energize and simulate you to make decisions and act independently, but also leaves room to develop yourself.


To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • You know how to engage, motivate and educate learners with varying levels of experience and education and of different cultures,
  • You have excellent communication skills and are used to communicate on different levels,
  • You are naturally well organised and capable of tracking the progress of multiple events,
  • You have to be fluent in English, written and spoken English. Another European language is an advantage,
  • Experience in a similar role where you had to organize events, host events and where you were working in an international environment is required,
  • Experience in using online events tools is required: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar,
  • Experience using online CRM tools is required: Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow or similar,
  • Experience in B2B events marketing is an advantage,
  • You are comfortable supporting and hosting events from your computer working in the virtual event environment,
  • You are also comfortable and available to travel to face to face events if required.
