Your team and your responsibilities:
The Product Strategy and Marketing Division develops the strategy and leads the planning of new Toyota models with the target to deliver the best product for European markets while ensuring achievement of our business objectives.
We are handling product planning (volume, specification, pricing), marketing strategy (sales & marketing strategy development & implementation across our markets, launch management) and lifecycle management.
Within this Division, you will join the group in charge of mid size cars & large SUVs product planning and lifecycle management for the European market.
Your responsibilities:
You will report to Product & Marketing Manager and will take the lead to provide market analysis and related product strategy for current generation model including future lifecycle actions.
Your daily tasks will include:
Product Development
- Competitor product benchmarking
- Development of the grade & specifications strategy for your models
- Cost Planning, volume & profit assumptions (business case)
- Interact with Toyota Motor Company (Japan Head Office) & relevant R&D members, and National Marketing & Sales Companies (NMSC) in order to ensure timely delivery of project milestones & results
- Be the source of expert knowledge and promoter of your model towards the NMSCs, related divisions in Toyota Motor Europe & Toyota Motor Company
- Manage the country specific requirements
- Based on customer feedback, propose and implement active life cycle actions
- Support the development and implementation of the Sales & Marketing strategy
- Support coordination of launch activities through crossfunctional launch team approach
- Support the Gotomarket strategy actively participating to content preparation & presentations at key milestones
