- Monitor and control plant operations through advanced control systems in a shift-based schedule(day-afternoon-night).
- Conduct thorough inspections, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure the safety of all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance.
- Analyse operational data and perform big data analytics to interpret complex datasets, contributing to the development of comprehensive performance metrics
- Oversee projects from conceptualization to implementation to ensure continuation improvement of operational activity. This includes detailed planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure strict compliance with evolving environmental and safety regulations. Develop and implement strategic initiatives for emissions reduction and sustainability.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring plant safety and stability.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay on top of the latest industry standards and technologies.
- Engage in the critical stages of plant construction and commissioning, ensuring seamless transition from project conception to operational excellence.
- Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field),
- Proven experience in industrial operations, preferably in a CCGT environment.
- Strong understanding of power plant systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and environmental regulations.
- Full professional proficiency in both French and English; Dutch is a plus.
