For our growing Supply Chain and Operations practice in Belgium we are looking for a
Senior Manager / Director to strengthen and lead our planning team.


Key Responsibilities


As a
Senior Manager/Director
Planning your key role will be to lead the Supply Chain planning team and bring it to the next level.

Your sole focus will be on growth drawing on your knowledge, skills and entrepreneurial mindset.


Growing the business includes building valued relationships with external clients and position EY Supply Chain planning in the market through thought leaderships and point of views.

This in combination with the EY vision on transformative planning will allow you to provide innovative insights for clients, adapting our service offerings, solutions, and methods to fit the operational teams and cultural needs.

You will be responsible for delivering a Go-To-Market strategy in line with the EY vision and mission.

Growing our business starts with our Exceptional Client Service approach. You will be responsible for the delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder projects that improve our client's business performance. You will deliver High-end quality in every step of our projects.

You will be a coach and counselor for your team.

You will support EY consultants with the progression of their career and bring your own life experience as a guidance for them.

You are a true people manager and are capable of bringing the EY Transformative Leadership model to life.

In addition, you'll actively establish and strengthen the relationships with our regional and global Supply Chain leadership teams who will support you in the growth of your own career.


Profile

  • A master's degree with emphasis in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or Logistics with strong academic records
  • A minimum of 10 years professional experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering sustained improvements in business performance, gained in industry and consulting
  • You are passionate about Supply Chain planning and can rely on strong knowledge and experience in this field or one of the subfields (demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, IBP, EBP, DRP, Production Scheduling, ), you are also familiar with planning technologies; preferably combined with sector knowledge in one of the followings sectors: Pharma, Advanced Manufacturing or FMCG
  • Fluent written and spoken English, French and/or Dutch
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, drive, enthusiasm, conceptual thinking, communication and influencing skills and pragmatism in execution
  • Entrepreneurial spirit & excellent business development skills
  • Intrinsic motivation to help establish and strengthen relationships with our clients
  • Commitment to support the development of others through taking on coaching and counselling roles for team members
