Theratopix Pharma is a young pharmaceutical company focusing on the development of innovative products based on scientific approach to fulfil unmet needs of people suffering from atopic dermatitis (AD) or having very dry, sensitive and eczema-prone skin.

This chronic, relapsing disorder is very frequent and usually begins in early infancy. It is well known that many environmental factors contribute by being pruritogens and irritants, upregulating inflammation process.

These include heat, dust, woollen clothing and pets but also irritants and/or allergens such as soaps, detergents and other chemical or natural ingredients from skin care products.

So, these persons need skincare products effective and free of such ingredients that could cause a new flare.

Theratopix has developed a new line of personal care products specifically adapted to this population, in collaboration with paediatricians and dermatologists.

At the same time, Theratopix has developed a test to support the paediatricians and dermatologists in the AD monitoring.


We are actively looking for a talented and engaged Sales Manager to lead the selling of our company's products on the Belgian market and to establish and execute an effective European go-to-market strategy to support the growth of Theratopix.


Keys responsibilities:


For the Belgian Market

  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing the sales team to ensure that it meets its quotas and goals.
  • Planning, building the strategy (pricing, offers, etc ) and conducting the selling through pharmacy chains and online pharmacies.
  • Developing and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • Developing and driving marketing strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and customer's needs and to support sales force.
  • Implementing the pricing strategy
  • Preparing and conducting an annual commercial plan including human resources, marketing needs, logistic solution, budget and sales forecast by sales channels for the Belgian market.
  • Monitoring compliance with the annual plan on a regular basis and taking the necessary measures to achieve the planned objectives
  • Reporting on the business, forecast and team's performance on regular basis to the board of directors

For the European Market

  • Gathering, investigating, and summarizing consumer healthcare market data by territory
  • Analysing and creating a detailed plan of sales channels (distributions, drug stores, pharmacies, wholesalers,..) by territory
  • Creating a new network of business contacts in all sales channels across Europe and documenting interactions and data related activities in CRM
  • Defining the priority target markets and building a detailed export plan for the targeted market : product portfolio, pricing, promotion, sales forecast, budget, route to market (direct sales, distributions, ecommerce, etc.)
  • Conducting the implementation of the export plan to reach the targeted market including negotiation of conditions with partners and followup of the partners (partners staff training, overseeing the design of marketing materials, etc.)
  • Ensuring and measuring the export plan compliance (kpi, reporting sales revenues, opportunities) and settingup all actions to hit the sales forecasts.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Reporting on the business, forecast and performance on regular basis to the board of directors

Experience and Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree minimum with 35 years' experience in marketing or sales.
  • Min 2 years' experience in sales management (including people management).
  • Experience in OTC sales processes involving multiple decision makers is a plus.
  • Fluency in French and English (C1min) required. Another European language is a plus
  • Personal interest for scientific/medical matters and ability to communicate at technical level
  • Digital marketing experience will be appreciated
  • Ability to manage a project independently and to identify priorities
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Strong analytical, organisational and planning abilities
  • Leadership skills with empathic and positive attitude
  • Organized, dynamic, proactive, openminded and resourceful
  • Good decision maker with integrity
