    MISSIONS:

    The Logistics Manager is responsible for:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to optimize supply chain efficiency, minimize costs, and improve delivery performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including factories, and customer service
  • Oversee the selection and management of third-party logistics providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation and warehousing services and operational flows
  • Monitor and analyze logistics metrics and KPIs, such as delivery time and service level, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze and forecast the logistics cost and required budget in detail
  • Manage inventory control, including stock levels, replenishment, and warehouse organization, to minimize stockouts and overstock situations
  • Processing and planning of co-packing activities and stock management and budget
  • The customers Logistics' claims management.

    • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum level of education and professional experience needed:

    • Degree in Logistic Management (or equivalent)

    Minimal 4 or 5 years of relevant international professional experience within complex organizations (preferably FMCG).

  • Specific knowledge (foreign languages, software, technical skills):

    • Fluent in English, French and NL is an important plus

    Strong experience as project manager

    String planning & organizing skills

    Good leadership skills

    Strong analytical insights

    Strong negotiating skills

    Supply chain management

    Stock management

    Claim management

    Financial knowhow

    Order and invoicing processes

    Knowledge of the local market: customers/retailers, wholesalers, distributors, competitors and logistic service providers

    IT knowledge on ERP/SAP, reporting tools and Office tools.
