Specialist QA Release, Trending & Compliance - LVV_**Are you looking for a QA release role for the Belgian manufacturing site? Would you like to join a motivated team within a manufacturing unit to ensure release of batches and continuous improvements to our processes?


GIO Belgium sites (Wavre/Rixensart) are accountable for the manufacturing, controlling, releasing and supplying of around 50% of the overall Vaccines business.


In this role you will


Interact with multiple stakeholder such as manufacturing teams, regulatory affairs, supply teams, inspection teams and GSK colleagues from other sites.


Main responsibilities of the role are:
Raises and maintains the status of quality in the organization

Develops, assures and maintains the quality of the product and processes

  • Standard procedures
  • Quality audits/review
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensures batches of the intermediate product related to the area of responsibility are released in a timely manner
  • Manages technical / release problems, evaluates potential impact on product quality and ensures timely escalation of issues
  • Ensures deviations, complaints, change controls, OOS investigation are reviewed and handled in a timely manner
  • Supervises a team of technicians, distributes their work and is responsible for their training and development plan
  • Represents QA (decision responsibility) in all meetings related to the area of responsibility (staff meetings, deviation, CAPA, CC followup meetings, ICG project,)
  • Leads local and/or transversal improvement projects to ensure the compliance level is maintained in line with cGMP and GSK standard requirements
  • Understands technical/production complex problems and evaluates potential impact on product quality

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Scientific university degree (Pharmacist, Engineer or equivalent)
  • Fluent in French and a very good knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of GMP regulated environment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical/Bio/Medical device environment or equivalent
