- and offline).

We cover the main management practices, from General Management to more specialised disciplines like Leadership, Digital Transformation, Finance, Innovation, Marketing and much more.

The activity of Solvay Lifelong Learning is closely connected with Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management (SBS-EM) inside the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).


Purpose and Description of the role
The coordinator is responsible for the delivery of programmes and events both online and in the classroom.


Supported by a full briefing from the Programme Manager, he/she will be responsible for organising the courses and/or activities related to the programmes entrusted to him/her.

The coordinator is present during the delivery of the programmes entrusted to him/her, evenings & Saturday presence when needed.


_ Programme & Events Delivery_


The coordinator is the ambassador of the programmes entrusted to him or her and is responsible for the satisfaction and quality of service offered to the clients and stakeholders (professors, programme managers, academic directors and partners) of the programmes.


He/she is in charge of:

  • Reception, interaction, availability, attendance for participants and faculty.
  • Programme management in the Learning Management platform Canvas (setup & course administration)
  • Management of the teaching staff (booking, schedules, wishes)
  • Production & distribution of faculty and student handbooks
  • Booking of infrastructure (premises, hosting, catering, teaching materials, etc.)
  • Preparation and Organisation of the infrastructure and logistics of the courses (course materials and IT, setting up the premises, teachers' wishes, etc.).
  • Organisational communication to participants and teaching staff › Management and redirection of requests from participants
  • Organisation of courserelated activities (seminars, group work, visits, panels, exams, workshops, coaching, etc.), both online, hybrid and offline
  • Responsible of the all admnistrative tasks related to the programme (cost, suppliers invoices, reporting, suppliers contracts)
  • Administration of evaluations (sending, collecting, reporting)

_Contribution to the organisation _
S/he (pro-)actively participates in the life of Executive Education and its continuous improvement through

  • Supports digital development and solutions for digital and blended courses
  • Is part of the delivery team and help contributing to the work of the team
  • Supporting the organisation of global infosessions
  • Involved in various crosscutting projects

Requirements:


Job Requirements

  • Fluency in spoken and written English and French (fluency in Dutch is a plus)
  • Great Digital fluency and interest for digital learning (software : Office suite or alike, audiovisual equipment, digital learning solutions)
  • Flexibility to work in the evening and weekend, when requested (Full time position with schedule from Tuesdays to Saturdays)
  • Customeroriented mindset
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Pedagogical sensibility
  • Rigorous organizational competences
  • Capacity to interact with demanding stakeholders and to build strong relations within a multicultural environment
  • Ability to take initiatives, prioritize and work under set deadlines

  • Relevant IT and social media management skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel/ Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter )

Profile and Experience:


  • Min. 1 to 3year experience in a clientsupport job
  • Experience in multitasking, operational positions
  • Willing to work from Tuesday to Saturday and flexibility to work in the evening and weekend, when requested
  • Availability to coordinate residential seminars outside Brussels
  • Knowledge of executive education sector is a plus
  • Experience in a demanding business environment is an asset
