    We need you for the position of

    GNSS DSP DATA ANALYST

    The Job

    As a GNSS DSP Data Analyst, you are part of a multidisciplinary R&D team located in Belgium which develops and tests advanced high-precision navigation satellite receiver modules. ​Septentrios GNSS receivers track hundreds of satellite signals, providing high precision ranging measurements.These receivers are often operating in difficult environments with lots of reflections, obscuration, and interference.

    Your Mission

    Your mission is to analyse receiver performance at GNSS measurement and navigation data level when exposed to specific environmental challenges, ensuring correct operation of the receivers DSP engine in all situations.Based on your observations, you contribute to the development process, proposing data-driven firmware improvements at algorithmic and parametric level, and tuning these in an organized way. Together with other data analysts you decide if new products and product updates are ready to release.

    Your Qualifications

    You have an MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering​, Computer Science or Physics and you are experienced with data processing tools like MATLAB or Python Numpy and can handle complex datasets. You also are familiar with GNSS measurements and the physical effects behind.

    You have a general understanding of GNSS receivers at system level, but also do you like working with advanced lab equipment like GNSS simulators.

    Any experience with software defined radio is a strong advantage and some affinity with embedded firmware gives you an advantage

    You are creative, like to invent experiments and test systems, you enjoy looking for errors and you have a keen eye for details. You are fluent in English.
