Job content
As an optical microscopy, SEM and TEM analyst, you will be responsible for:

Performing microscopic research for internal and external customers.
Supporting the research carried out in the microscopy team.
Planning research requests of various kinds, both in terms of performing sample preparation and determining and implementing the necessary microscopy methods.
Interpreting and reporting the results of the analyses and formulating proposals for further steps in the research.
Translating the results in a transparent and understandable way and being able to communicate them to customers.
Collaborating from your area of expertise with multidisciplinary project teams.
Working according to applicable quality and safety procedures.

Desired profile

You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Science (Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Geology) or equivalent through experience
You have experience with analytical techniques and preferably already handson experience with optical microscopy, SEM and/or TEM. Experience with sample preparation is a nice plus.
You have knowledge of chemistry and/or engineering, are eager to learn and can work independently in a chemical environment.
You have a passion for materials analysis.
You work independently and show initiative for innovation.
You are solution oriented and result driven.
You work systematically, neatly and safely.
You adopt a flexible attitude.
You are a customeroriented team player.
You communicate fluently with internal and external customers, and you can express yourself fluent in English both orally and in writing.
You are flexible and interested to perform other analysis techniques in the future (e.g. XRD, FTIR and Raman).
