We are looking for anaccounts payable accountant for our shared service centre in Brussels.

We are a team of 15 people, based in Brussels and manage different brands of IPG across Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Luxembourg.

You will join the Brussels shared service team and take care of the following tasks:
Main tasks

Create and maintain supplier records
Maintain vendor files
Review list of outstanding purchase orders
Provide training to staff for creation of purchase orders
Adapt account assignment of purchase orders if needed
Review and verify supplier invoices and flag unusual or questionable invoices
Sort, code and record supplier invoices in SAP
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
Assist with month end closing and reconciliations of the vendor ledger
Assistance to audits
Ensure compliance with group procedures

As backup

Post bank statements in SAP
Prepare supplier payments in SAP
Load payments into the electronic payment system
