Data Scientist, Belgium, Short term contract
A methodology and proof of concept has been created and must be implemented with R and python scripts in order to be integrated in the existing post-processing suite and to be used operationally for decision making.
To support the industrialization of the existing proof of concept script, we are looking for a senior data scientist with experience in advanced analytics.
Service description:
Development of a new tool in R/python based on requirements and existing PoC
The following competencies are required for this position:
- R programming language experience
- Efficient R programming, to cope with vast amounts of data
- Profiling and optimization of scripts
- Code documentation
- R package creation
- Basic knowledge of power system (power flows, voltages, grid elements, etc.)
- Knowledge of machine learning methods (random forest, clustering...)
- Knowledge of python
- Experience with python and R interoperability
