FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY:


The Pricing and Strategic Marketing department forms a vital link between Triton's customers, Triton's field marketers, and the strategic and financial objectives of the organization.

The department works closely with Triton's Senior Management (CEO, CFO, etc.) and its global sales force on a day to day basis.

The pricing and strategic marketing department maintains primary responsibility for pricing and structuring all of Triton's leasing transactions, and is closely involved in developing general and customer-specific marketing objectives and strategies.

The Pricing and Strategic Marketing group works with Business Development group to enhance pricing models.

The Pricing and Strategic Marketing group also maintains close coordination with Triton's Treasury, Credit and Procurement departments to ensure that Triton's lease pricing and marketing strategies accurately reflect current equipment cost, capital cost and credit risk considerations.

The decisions made by this department heavily influence Triton's profitability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Structure and price live leasing transactions. Typical transaction sizes range from $1 million to more than $100 million of equipment.
  • Update and improve Triton's general lease pricing models.
  • Create new customized pricing models for specific leasing transactions
  • Maintain close communication with Triton's Global Sales force to reflect current market conditions and keep Triton's senior management up to date.
  • Actively participate in pricing, marketing strategies and contract negotiations, and occasionally take a lead role in responding to day to day pricing inquiries from Triton's global field sales force based on current market conditions.
  • Liaise with Triton's credit team, in order to properly reflect credit risk in lease pricing and structuring decisions
  • Create marketing reports to summarize and communicate market trends, pricing data, Triton wins / losses, customer market shares, etc.
  • Travel periodically to spend time with Triton's field marketing organization and customer base.

REQUIREMENTS:


KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • BS/BA required
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial or investment banking position, or comparable role
  • International experience a plus

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


  • Significant experience with building and using financial models in Excel
  • Good decision making skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take project ownership and make sound business decisions
  • Ability to effectively interact with different levels in the organization.
  • Interest in global trade and finance
  • Must be capable of setting priorities and working under time pressure.
  • Must be able to multi task, responding to different inquiries simultaneously.
  • Open to both domestic and international travel as required (< 20%)
