    Description

    We currently have a vacancy for an Application Architect (Java) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site

    Your tasks

  • Design, coordination of the implementation, test, release control, maintenance and technical support of software architecture components and services;
  • Production of software architecture documents;
  • Review of existing systems architecture, integration with other systems and services;
  • Analysis of compliance with applicable standards (including Information and IT Security);
  • Contribute to IT Security Risk analysis;
  • Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis.

    • Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
  • Excellent knowledge of modelling tools and application design;
  • Excellent knowledge of Hibernate and Spring Frameworks;
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational DBMS (Oracle) and SQL;
  • Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
  • Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Programming languages (Java, JQuery, Angular/AngularJS);
  • Excellent knowledge of development tools (Eclipse, Maven...);
  • Excellent knowledge of Application servers/containers (Tomcat / Weblogic);
  • Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. AGILE...);
  • Experience in integration of web-based external applications;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
