They are looking for their next
Operations Manager for their site in Belgium.

In this dynamic and varied role, the Operations Manager will play a crucial part in the day-to-day running of operations, ensuring the business runs smoothly while maintaining compliance with procedures.

This is a hands-on role that will also require strong Business and Finance acumen as they will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be accountable for all financial aspects of the Belgian entity.


Job description

  • Oversee the Admin, HR, Accounting & Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, and Customer Service functions and manage all handson operational aspects of the site.
  • Manage, lead, coach and develop your 3 direct reports to establish a team of motivated employees.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive financial information and reports to executive management for longterm financial strategizing.
  • Responsible for the control of financial transactions of the company and daytoday transactions.
  • Responsible for managing, controlling, and forecasting cash flow.
  • Manage inventory control including asset registers and stock controls.
  • Reengineer operations and procedures, formulate policies, develop and implement new strategies and procedures.
  • Contribute to streamlining logistics processes, warehouse management, and procurement workflows.
  • Lead operations to meet budgets and metrics while compliant with all regulations and procedures.
  • Create an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork and commitment to doing things right.

Requirements:


  • Strong background in Finance, Accounting and HR/Admin.
  • Master's degree in management or business preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills in English and Dutch.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Leadership skills, drive for results, act under high pressure.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a processoriented mindset.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a handson approach.
