J&J Innovative Medicine Principal Operations belongs to the Innovative Medicine Companies of Johnson & Johnson. J&J IM Principal Operations is a global organization located in USA, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Singapore and Switzerland.


Within J&J IM Principal Operations, our mission is to provide diligent stewardship of the Innovative Medicine business model, by protecting and optimizing the product intellectual property (IP) structures in close collaboration with J&J Innovative Medicine Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Tax and Treasury.

Currently we are looking for
Senior Financial Analyst - Tax to join the IMPO organization in
Beerse, Belgium.


The purpose of the role is to coordinate and support all aspects of tax financial accounting and reporting within the IMPO Belgian organization.

This role requires an understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards. You get the opportunity to gain insights in the consolidated P&L and the tax model. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across all the layers of the organization. Entities in scope comprises of Principal and Treasury companies. The role reports to the Finance Manager Principal Accounting & Reporting Belgium.

What you'll do.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare quarterly and forecast tax provisions in accordance with US GAAP and BE GAAP requirements.
  • Support in the preparation and timely submission of CIT returns.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tax reporting, closing processes, and reconciliation activities.
  • Support Tax Audits conducted by local government agencies.
  • Act as a liaison between the finance department, tax department and other stakeholders across the organization.
  • Compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Support adhoc tax projects.

**To be successful, you demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a matrix business locally and regionally/globally. You have a demonstrable history of developing strong business partnerships and successful collaboration.

Qualifications:


  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • A firm understanding of financial accounting.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Critical mindset: ability to challenge, improve and optimize current processes and assumptions.
  • High energy, flexible, resultoriented, capable of working independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Understanding of US GAAP and BE GAAP requirements is an advantage.
