The position

Reporting to the Sales Manager BTC, the Key Account Manager Retail is responsible for the net revenue of +/- 7.5 mln € in the Belgian and Luxemburg Market.

In this role, the Key Account Manager is expected to inspire and support the sales team of 3 representatives to reach his or her objectives.

Main responsibilities

• Yearly set up of a key account growth plan for the channels in scope: Pharmacy chains, Parapharmacy chains and Drugstores. Expected revenue E7.5 mln €.
• Accountable for the perfect execution of the yearly key account growth plan.
• Perform yearly negotiations for key accounts, including rebates/ promo evaluations.
• Manage, inspire and coach a team of 3 Key account representatives.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers, other Key Account Managers, (Trade) Marketing, Finance, Demand planning, and Regulatory departments.
• Provide weekly and monthly sales reporting, analysis & conclusions, and converting into them into short term and midterm action steps.
• Part of the sales team BTC, reporting to Sales Manager BTC.

Knowledge/Experience

• Master of Bachelor degree level.
• 5 years of sales/commercial experience in the industry, key account management experience is a must.
• Excellent knowledge of and relationship with Belgian and Luxemburg Pharma trade partners in scope.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
• Knowledge of the health care or pharmaceutical industry.
• Good Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint skills.
