Position Summary
As an agile and business focused "

Investment Manager", you will be in charge of the asset allocation implementation and monitoring, and you will coordinate the manager line-up. You will also be responsible for cash management. You will liaise with the custodian, the accountant and coordinate statutory audits;

You will propose processes and controls to improve cash and asset management and mitigate risks. Within your remit, you will ensure that business continuity is provided at all times. You will be in charge of supporting the Investment Committee and act as its secretary.

A Day in the Life of a Investment Manager

Monitor the asset allocation and trigger rebalancing when needed
Liaise with the thirdparty asset managers.
Ensure cash management activity
Ensure adequate and timely delivery of administrative ringfencing data
Monitor the work of the thirdparty accountant and ensure timely delivery
Coordinate statutory audits
Prepare the Investment Committee meetings and act as its secretary.
Support the work of the various functions of NEPF (depending on audit cycles)
Act as backup of the Benefit manager.

What will make you successful

5+ years' experience in financial/investment matters or manager monitoring. Pension fund experience is a plus.
Master of Science level knowledge of finance or equivalent. Being CFA, CAIA Charterholder or similar certification is a plus.
Strong stakeholder management and recognized leadership skills.
Ability to translate complex topics into easytounderstand concepts.
Superior analytical skills.
Excellent communication and networking skills.
Hands on and collaborative approach.
Fluent in English, written and spoken. Dutch or French is a benefit.
