Job Description:
Position Overview
As a IT Business Analyst you will be the linking pin between multiple business units and the Digital Business Processes (DBP) team, understanding and linking their business needs to technology.
You will need to effectively communicate and align with multiple business stakeholders and be the main point of contact between DBP and the business.
The assignments within this role are broad and include evaluation, analysis, and communicating systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes.
As a business analyst, you support the implementation of improvements, starting from defining the solution until follow-up of the rollout.
Roles and Responsibilities
Daily, you'll be energized by:
- Improving our ways of working and processes
- Gathering information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with users.
- Acting as an information source and communicator between business departments to reach an alignment on business requirements.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Documenting business process (As Is and To Be)
- Analyzing business needs and documenting business requirements
- Running functional tests and analyzing data to ensure User Acceptance Test can start
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts to stakeholders
- Working closely with production, managerial, and executive teams
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Previous experience with either ERP or CRM is required
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and documentation skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Ability to positively influence others and bond with business stakeholders; a confident, 'can do' approach to problem solving
- High level of initiative, ability to work well in a global and virtual team environment, plans and carries out responsibilities with mínimal direction
- Fluent in English
Education
- Academic training with min 3 years of experience in relevant role
Travel
- Prepared to travel on an occasional basis both to other TOMRA sites or customers' sites, both domestic and abroad
