At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our UniQue team in Brussels

What will you be bringing to the team?

You will perform the coordination, supervision and review of the work and deliverables of other consultant teams working on the project
Act as a liaison for the internal teams and external stakeholders working on the project
Run quality control of data specifications (quality assurance covering data structure, definitions, business rules, code lists)
Assist in coordinating the work on developing the specifications on message exchange
Review documentation on business requirements, including functional requirements, business cases analysis, business process modelling
Assist with the development of implementation guidelines and other implementation support tools to the different stakeholder groups that need to turn these specifications into operational systems. Review or, as appropriate, write user manuals, implementation documentation and wikis.
Advise on planning and priorities.
Take a proactive role in identifying possible risks, weaknesses and propose solutions.

Requirements:

What do you need to succeed in this position?

A Bachelor degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience (or Master degree and at least 5 years of experience)
At least 5 years of experience in coordinating the work of international/multicultural teams, preferably in highly regulated fields
At least 5 years of experience in requirements engineering
At least 5 years of specific expertise in BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value
At least 5 years of specific expertise in hierarchical modelling, ERDs for CDM and LDM, and dimensional modeling
At least 5 years of specific expertise in large organisation administrative business processes
At least 3 years of specific expertise in Wiki and collaborative tools
At least 1 year of experience in Agile toolbox (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, BigPicture, Balsamiq, etc)
Good experience of relational database systems and SQL and demonstrable knowledge of nonrelational database technologies
Demonstrable knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools
Demonstrable knowledge of ETL tools as well as Data modelling tools

- _Experience in acting as Product Owner or in working with EU legislations and extracting requirements from legal documents would be an asset_
- _Business analyst certification (such as IIBA or PMI Professional in Business Analysis) or a certification in the Agile methodology would be an asset_

Proficiency in the English language at a high level is required for this role. Knowledge of French would be an asset
