For our growing Supply Chain and Operations practice in Belgium we are looking for an
OMP Senior Consultant to strengthen our
Planning team.

Your key responsibilities

As a
Senior Consultant you support and (co-)lead project delivery teams improving our client's business performance, in line with our Exceptional Client Service approach, while helping grow our practice outside of your client work.

Drawing on your knowledge, skills and experience, you will start to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers, support bids, proposals and thought leadership.

You will work independently as well as in teams. You will coach and support consultants and client team members, perform analyses and report finding and results. You will share your expertise with other colleagues in the Supply Chain & Operations team of EY Belgium.

You will implement and deliver OMP solutions end-to-end and have the task to:

Optimize the Supply Chain Planning processes and functions of our clients while translating their business needs into functional and technical requirements for the OMP solutions.
Be hands on in the tools and cocreate solutions that fit our clients' needs and are in line with the capabilities of OMP
Assist in the configuration and parametrization of the OMP solutions
Have an eye for the impact the new ways of working will have on the enduser and implement solutions to smoothen the transition (eg. Training, enduser profiling, )

Your knowledge and experience, combined with EY's thought leadership on the future of Supply Chain Planning, will allow you to provide innovative insights for clients, adapting our service offerings, solutions, and methods to fit the operational teams and cultural needs.

You are thorough and result oriented and work together with the client on implementing solutions. You often work in an international environment on projects with a significant impact on company results.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping our clients to solve their toughest supply chain problems.

To qualify for the role you must have:

A master's degree, preferably Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or Logistics
Approximately 25 years of professional experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering sustained improvements in business performance, gained in industry and/or consulting
You are passionate about Supply Chain planning and can rely on first working experience in this field or one of the subfields (demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, IBP, EBP, DRP, Production Scheduling, ),
You are technologically savvy and have experience with Supply Chain Planning Systems (OMP, O9, Kinaxis) but most of all you are willing to gather deep knowledge about OMP.
Fluent written and spoken English, French and/or Dutch
Excellent analytical capabilities, drive, enthusiasm, conceptual thinking, communication and influencing skills and pragmatism in execution
Entrepreneurial spirit & excellent business development skills
Intrinsic motivation to help establish and strengthen relationships with our clients
Commitment to support the development of others through taking on coaching and counselling roles for team members
