Tax Consult is a company providing tax, accounting and advisory services to international groups as well as to Belgian based small and medium companies.

Our history began in 1981 when we opened the first office in Brussels. In addition to the Brussels office, we also have an office in Antwerp.

Tax Consult is looking for an
IT Manager with outstanding technical and managerial skills.


Job description:


The impact you'll have

  • Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure security, compliance and risk management within the business.
  • Overseeing the management of software and hardware licenses to ensure compliance and optimize costs.
  • Monitoring and maintaining network performance to ensure optimal operation.
  • Managing security updates and patches.
  • Coordinating with external service providers to solve problems, manage contracts and research new technological solutions.
  • Presenting IT initiatives, progress, projects and opportunities for improvement to the management.
  • Monitoring infrastructure projects, ensuring they are implemented effectively and on time.
  • User and access management.
  • Administering and managing virtualized environments, to ensure optimum performance and constant availability of services.
  • Resolving technical incidents (level I, II and III).
  • Network management, including configuration and maintenance of network equipment such as switches, routers and firewalls, as well as management of TCP/IP, WiFi and VPN protocols (sitetosite) & (clienttosite).
  • Setting up management of workstations (PCs, printers and everything else).
  • Evaluate / challenge the options proposed by the partners.
  • Deploy proposed projects according to a developed strong project plan.
  • Manage and help develop our IT consultant to assist at best our collaborators.

Your profile:


The value you will bring

  • You have a Bachelor's and/or a Master's degree and 5 years of experience in the relevant fields: IT service management, project management, software development (architectures, technologies and methods) and IT operations.
  • You demonstrate excellent organisation, structure and project management skills.
  • You know how to handle confidential information.
  • You are curious about discovering new solutions for the organisation.
  • You have good communication skills so that you can explain a technical solution to a user with no IT knowledge.
  • You are a good team player, able to integrate in your team, coach your direct colleague and act as a mediator.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of French and a good knowledge of English. Dutch is considered an asset.
