CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY MANAGER
Based in OELEGEM

The job

In line with the Group's CSR Strategy and Corporate Global Strategy, you lead the CSR Strategy for Oleon and you ensure the implementation within the organization.

You create value for the company and all its stakeholders in the entire value chain.

You act as a CSR champion and ambassador by promoting CSR within the organization as well as externally in professional associations towards suppliers and customers.

You create the strategy and set ambition levels and thereby ensures the organization's future compliance to new legislation, financial reporting schemes, group targets and customer expectations.
You translate the strategy into policies, objectives, and roadmaps and you drive the implementation of CSR objectives in each department, together with the department heads.
You are responsible for the definition of the KPI's for measuring progress towards the global strategy.
You steer actions within other departments & influence and persuade colleagues to engage in order to implement the CSR strategy at all levels in the organization.
You work with external stakeholders to upscale CSR enrolment at all levels of the value chain.
You support marketing, sales & purchasing colleagues and directly engage with key customers and suppliers to communicate the strategy and requirements. You seek collaboration to improve customer/supplier intimacy.
You lead a team of 5 CSR specialists, manage competencies, and stimulate talent in line with HR policies.

You stimulate a climate for continuous improvement and building know-how by ensuring colleagues within different departments adequate training and knowledge of CSR.

Who are we looking for?

You obtained a master or PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or another relevant science and have a proven track record (minimum 10 years) in a similar role within an innovative & technical environment, preferably in a chemical or agro industry.

You have excellent managerial skills and knows how to motivate a team. Your communication & interactional skills make you able to network & manage different stakeholders internally and externally. Working precise with attention to the service level for the customers energizes you. Youmove smoothly in an environment characterized by change, and you can prioritize well. Yoursense of responsibility and entrepreneurship typifies you. You speak fluently English, knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus. You are flexible and are willing to travel 30% of your time. You are based in Venette (France) or in Oelegem or Ertvelde (Belgium).
