Position overview:The hazard communication team at allnex provides information about chemical hazards, procedures for handling and working with them, and measures to prevent or respond to dangerous situations through safety data sheets and labels.


We are seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to lead projects aimed at enhancing Hazard Communication processes by implementing new digital technologies, such as AI, to automate data extraction and handling, thereby increasing the efficiency of daily tasks for teams.

In this role, you will closely collaborate with the Hazard Communication team to identify process improvement opportunities, define digital tools for use, and implement them in collaboration with the IT team.

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Hazard Communications Manager and team to identify areas where automation could significantly enhance processes (in terms of time or quality).
  • Evaluate available systems, test new systems, ensure integration feasibility within the current database architecture (WERCS, SAP), and advise the HazCom Manager on the best tools available.
  • Develop project plans in conjunction with IT and the Hazard Communications Manager.
  • Lead the implementation of Hazard Communications aspects: process changes, data transformation, testing, training, and documentation.

Required skills and experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience (background in IT or process improvement is a plus).
  • Experience in Hazard Communication is advantageous (basic understanding of chemistry required).
  • Possess a processoriented and analytical mindset.
  • Capable of comprehending, analyzing, and challenging complex crossfunctional processes.
  • Able to make decisions and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
  • Skilled at driving and engaging others in process changes.

Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in engineering (preferred), chemistry, or IT.
  • Strong verbal and written English skills.
