As a Telecom Business Development Manager at Open Coconut Networks, you will have the opportunity to create and shape our commercial strategy.
You will work closely with our founders and team to develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and increase market share.
To be successful in this role, you should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with clients and stakeholders on a regular basis.
Prior experience in business development and the telecommunications industry is a requirement.Our aim for our service is global but we start with a limited footprint so a past experience with Belgium and surrounding countries' markets is definitely a plus

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in business, telecommunications, technical studies, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Dutch
- English or French
- Dutch or French
- English
- An indepth understanding of the European telecommunication landscape
- Knowledge of the international telecommunications market is a plus
- Good knowledge of marketing, CRM, and sales processes of telecommunications software
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and functional needs
- Excellent soft, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Driving License B
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and source a strong pipeline of prospective clients and qualified leads
- Meet or exceed sales and profit goals
- Cocreate and execute a sales strategy for the allocated product range and region
- Facilitate the presales process for new leads, including first contact, discovery phase, meetings, and contract negotiation
- Lead and coordinate proposal preparations in cooperation with other departments within Open Coconut's leading team to prepare ontime and highquality proposals
- Actively manage existing customer accounts, address key objectives and strategy, concerns and escalations, overall status, and new sales opportunities
- Deliver inperson sales presentations with prospective and existing customers
- Research and stay updated with telecommunication industry trends and insights
- Attend and actively participate in conferences and industry events
