Main Responsibilities
Depending on the needs of the AIMS team, the contractor shall be assigned and shall complete some or all of the following tasks:

  • To manage and support the process of migration to the EAD services of EAD clients (Data Provider (DP), Data User (DU), both Civil and Military), and provide first level information to potential customers.
  • To manage and ensure the maintenance of client/contact information and management of actions resulting from client contacts.
  • To contribute to processes, procedures and improvement initiatives to increase effectiveness of working arrangements with stakeholders.
  • To coordinate and prepare invoices for EAD clients.
  • To contribute to the development and maintenance of awareness material such as EAIM publications, and bath the general and operational AIM websites including contributions to various EUROCONTROL newsletters and workshops.
  • To develop and maintain operational documentation related to the management of EAD customers.
  • To assist the customer manager in the elaboration and maintenance of the Business Plan, Annual Plan and Annual Report.
  • To monitor the customer satisfaction survey process in close cooperation with the Performance Forecasts and Relations Unit, including customer satisfaction on events and on AIM service in general.
  • To organise EAD events and related workshops including preparation of material, draft minutes, and action item followup.
  • To perform any other task in line with the main purpose of the job.

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in the area of Aeronautical Information Management


Languages:

Excellent command of the English language and ability to write documents in a clear and structured way in English. Command of any additional European language(s) is an advantage.


Technical/Professional Qualification

Desirable:


  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (in particular MS-Word. MS-Excel and MS-Powerpoint)

Experience/Skills Required

Mandatory:


  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the area of Aeronautical Information Management
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the area of customer management Technical drafting skills (English), E.g. production of meeting minutes, drafting of technical ndas, etc.

Desirable:


  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the area of project management
  • Experience in giving training in the AIM domain
  • Knowledge of or interest in the ATM & ATS domain Basic knowledge of EAD (familiar with NOTAMs or AIP)

Other Requirements (Personal Characteristics)

Mandatory:


  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain good professional relationships both internal and external
