WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Java Angular Architect _
Join our Brussels-based client as an Application Architect.

DG AGRI manages an extensive portfolio of Information Systems that support the core business activities of DG AGRI.

These Information Systems are mainly specific to DG AGRI since they support the management of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) performed by the Directorate-General.

The tasks are related to the conception, development and maintenance of the CAP Information Systems and are in accordance with the nature of the tasks for the requested profile as defined in the Annex I of the Call for Tenders' Service Requirements and Service Level Agreement.

In particular, the Contractor's service provider will be asked to design and develop architecture components and to assist during relevant parts of analysis, testing and deployment.

YOUR TASKS

Analysis of the integration of different information systems.
Data analysis and data modelling.
Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture.
Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers.
Production of software architecture documents.
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.
Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture.
Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud.
Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

At least 5 years of experience with Java (min. competence level 5)
At least 3 years of experience with each of the following technologies: HTML, CSS, Angular (any version) (min. competence level 3)
At least 5 years of experience with each of the following technologies: Spring, JPA (or Hibernate), SQL (min. competence level 4)

EXTRA INFORMATION

Homeworking at a distance which allows service providers to be onsite within 2 hours (Brussels)
Onsite presence may be requested with a notice period of 7 days.
