Toyota Motor Europe (TME) Corporate Communications acts as an antenna and communicator for the company external relations.

It has a vision to enhance Toyota's reputation in Europe through collaborative relationships with external stakeholders (for example - international and national media, NGOs, customers).

In pursuit of this we want to achieve the recognition that Toyota is a company that cares about people, society and the future.


Our role is to develop and implement external communications activities focusing on TME's core corporate pillars: Electrification, Carbon Neutrality, Sustainability, DE&I and the transformation to a mobility company.

We are also the official mobility partner for the Olympic, Paralympic and Special Olympic Games. In parallel to these goals, we protect our corporate reputation by monitoring and managing risks and crisis communication.

Job Purpose

Specialist role within the Corporate Communications function for TOYOTA, responsible for developing and sharing PR.

You will report to a Senior Specialist but will work with the entire team. We are looking for someone who has experience or is interested in a career in communications and mobility.

Working with an experienced team, you will rapidly gain an insight into the company's communication priorities across many divisional activities and the external demands from a wide range of stakeholders.


Key tasks:

  • Support the development of PR materials (press releases, Q&As, social content, press kits, pictures and video material)
  • Develop corporate materials for owned (Newsroom & Corporate Website) and social media channels (Twitter & LinkedIn)
  • Update and share regular reports for distribution within the organisation.
  • Support the organisation of press events and interviews with TME executives
  • Monitor and assess media coverage in Europe
  • Help NMSCs answer media enquiries (information, assets, interviews, visits, etc)

Profiel:


  • Education: Bachelor or Masters
  • Interest in mobility industry, Toyota as a company
  • Mature personality able to liaise with all levels of the company
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, any other European language is a plus.
  • High level of creative writing skills with experience in making presentation
  • Numerate and accurate
  • Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of MS office: creative software (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
  • You are able to work in a small & dynamic team with strict deadlines
  • You are a selfstarter, happy to take initiatives, flexible to handle a wide variety of topics and tasks
  • You have the ability to pay attention to detail, fact
- and data-checking for accuracy, consistency
