For our group of companies with offices in Malle, Tienen and Bornem, we are looking for a full-time clerk for the administrative follow-up of claims files and management of the insurance portfolio.

Duties include collecting information on claims, consulting with management on liability, and managing and optimizing insurance policies.

Required skills are a good knowledge of Dutch, and knowledge of English and French is a plus, as well as skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint.

The work location is mainly in Malle, with occasional meetings in Tienen and Bornem.

Description

Gathering all information regarding the damage claimed: photos, amicable determinations (utility companies), amount, can causation be demonstrated, etc.
Consultation with management about whether or not the company is liable
Ensure that any expert assessments are planned for the right people within the company and ensure that attendance is confirmed to the parties involved.
Various damages are dealt with: fleet, cable, pipeline, third party property, own damage,...
In short, all administrative followup of damages up to and including their settlement
Mapping out various current insurance policies including fire insurance, AO insurance, BA insurance, fleet policies,......
Optimization of the various policies (possibly consolidation with the same broker)
Content review of the policies (elimination of double coverage)
Conclusion of policies and followup on purchase of new vehicles, sale of vehicles, etc.

Profile

You have a bachelor's degree in finance and insurance
You have similar experience
You speak Dutch perfectly, knowledge of English and French is a plus
You are communicative and stress resistant
You can easily work independently and quickly get to grips with the software used
