The team you will be a part of:

The Government Relations team analyzes and evaluates the impact of government policy and regulation on the organization's activities and objectives. Develops and maintains policies and programs to ensure organizational awareness of government legislation and/or regulatory issues that affect the organization. Ensures that the organization's interests are represented and protected in legislative proceedings and in the development of market rules and procedures.

This role in summary:

To support in standardization and regulatory affairs matter for KitchenAid Small Domestic Appliances (SDA).

The outcome is global 5 year SDA platform product plans that consistently deliver product leadership to the markets/brands in Europe and EMEA.

Your responsibilities will include:

Advocacy for the material and chemical legislation to shape it according to the company's requests
FC ( Food Contact) legislation monitoring and advocacy for compliance
End of Life : Inform the KitchenAid Small Appliance Team about the reqs related to waste management of end of life appliances, providing consultancy on the local consortium
Packaging: EMEA SDA GPO referent for packaging compliance
SCIP Database: secure new models are included in SCIP according to the MDM system and according to the information collected from supply chain by Gensuite (online portal for our ges0084 policy)
APPLiA EU meeting for RoHS, REECH, etc
Keep DNG updated for materials, chemicals and food contact
Support for EMEA compliance council

Minimum requirements:

35 years product development experience
Technical degree

Preferred skills and experiences:

Ability to influence and drive consensus across regions to converge on solutions that leverage global scale while still delivering on regional needs
Technical Skills in Standardization area
Proven business case development/value creation experience
Exceptional strategic thinker
MBA (preferred)
