The job

Within Manuchar's Chemicals business, the Global Business Development Team Crop Nutrition at headquarters focusses on expanding sales and services to Crop Nutrition industries in more than 30 countries worldwide, by offering a complete portfolio of water-soluble fertilizers and tailor-made services to industrial customers, growers, and other end-users.

We would like to welcome a new member to support the further development of our business.

Your main responsibilities are:

You will be responsible for the commercial support to the Global Business Development team for Crop Nutrition. Your initial focus and responsibility area will be our business development in Africa. Once managed, this will gradually expand to the Middle Eastern and Asian region as well.
You will handle business inquiries, draw up offers and followup quotations for key accounts and affiliates of Manuchar. You monitor recurrent business and assist the commercial team in the further strategic expansion of their markets.
The handling of orders is taken care of by our Back Office, but you supervise the process from a strategic and commercial perspective. You identify and solve problems smoothly and renegotiate conditions where necessary.
You communicate proactively with the customers and affiliate companies throughout Africa, Asia and Middle East. Next to the contact with external partners, you are in close contact with your Crop Nutrition colleagues.

Profile:

You obtained a Bachelor's degree (economics or logistics is a plus).
You have relevant working experience in a commercial or logistics environment. Basic knowledge of Incoterms, letters of credit and trade or transportation documents is a strong asset.
You have a commercial mindset, and your goal is to set up solid commercial support. You can keep a good general overview of international trade orders from a commercial administrative point of view.
You are an organized individual with a talent for administration and problemsolving, even under time pressure. Colleagues appreciate your sense of initiative, flexibility, and teamwork.
You are fluent in English and have good knowledge of French.
