We are looking for a General Ledger accountant for our client active in the telecom sector.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Become acquainted with the specific processes and products that are related to the domains within your scope of responsibilities

• Ensure that all transactions within your scope of responsibilities are timely posted, reported and correctly valued and this taking into consideration all applicable BGAAP, IFRS, Tax and VAT rules

• Participate in the monthly closing activities by ensuring that all figures are timely and correctly posted, by producing the appropriate financial reports, analysing and sharing conclusions on monthly variances with the accounting Manager and other stakeholders in Finance

• Perform proper reconciliation for specific domains in order to provide accounting Manager with accurate and reliable financial information on time.

• Ensure accurate and timely intercompany reconciliation

• Assist various department with accounting questions and requests

• Participate to external audit process

• Provide support to the accounting Manager in the context of a new project

qualifications

Your Profile

• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting

• You have a minimum of 5 years experience in general Accounting domain

• You have a good experience and knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office tools

• You are well organized and able to work to tight deadlines

• You are resistant to stress

• You are able to work independently

• You have an analytical, critical and pragmatic approach to problem solving

• You are fluent in English and French or English and Dutch

• You are flexible and open-minded

• You are pro-active, precise and rigorous.

• 2x/week in the office
